When I open Goverlan, the Activation Wizard windows says that the License Management System failed to start.
When I try to start the Ast SERVICE I get error 1717.
What is happening? |

The Ast Service depends on the Windows Event Log service. Make sure that the event log service is started, then start the Ast Service.

What is your OS? Vista?
if yes, there is a common issue with the Event Log. Do a web search on "Event Log Service Access Is Denied Vista".
