| #1 | Has anyone been successfull at deploying Quicktime as a scope action? If so, could you give details such as logged in user type, package used etc?
Thanks |

| #2 | First, make sure that you have the latest version of Goverlan (at the time of reply, it is: v7.01.28): Select Help > Online Access > Check for Updates If you didn't have the latest version of Goverlan, make sure that you update the Goverlan Agents on your client machines (as Goverlan will not automatically update v7 agents).
Then follow these instructions:
Open the Administration & Diagnostic Feature, go to any live computer object and open the Software Products feature. Click on the Add New Program > Add / Remove Installation Package Create a new EXE installation package and configure it appropriately with a name and the path to the QuickTimeInstaller.exe file. Under Argument String, enter: /quiet Save and close your install package. Before we use this installation package in a scope action, you should test that is installs properly on a single machine.
Create a new scope action and under the Action Module property, select: Add / Remove > Execute Computer Action > Software Products > Install Software Package.
In the argument window, click on the browse button and selec the Quicktime Install Package.
